The Stock Market Today… Now What?

Hi Toolbox Fans,

Wow, I can’t believe we are actually here.

I told my Dad the other day that right at this moment…

"The Treasury Secretary, The Chairman of the Federal Reserve, The congressional leaders from both parties, and the boards of directors from every major financial firm in the world are working nights and weekends to try and avoid what I told you was coming."

What is an investor to do?

Well, there are a few things you can do.

First thing to do is get a hold of yourself and do NOT panic.

If you think there is just doom and gloom out there you are WRONG!

You need to be very carefully trading this market. This may be a great time to scoop up some long-term investing bargains… but who really knows. If you are investing long-term you need to be carefully examining your portfolio to be sure that you are not holding companies that depend on "available credit" to do business. There is a long list of companies the DEPEND on available credit to get their normal operations to happen.

They could be in big trouble

The second thing you can do if you are going to trade this market is learn to go long and short properly and when to be on the sidelines. One way you can do that is by joining the Swing Trading Club featuring Jeffrey Brewer.

Sunday Night Jeffrey will be back on the "The Week Ahead" Show and we will be looking at the markets for the upcoming week and I can’t wait to see how foreign markets are reacting to the news pending in Washington. It will also be interesting to see the futures on the US markets as we broadcast LIVE Sunday night.

The new show will feature Neil Batho from Trader Review and will be called "Monday Money, Markets & More". The new show will cover topics related to investing, public policy and current events affecting you.

This Monday Night you can catch the debut episode at 8pm Eastern Time, September 29th, 2008 at "Monday Money, Markets & More". This week we’ll be looking at how Wall Street reacted to the bail out plan..if it happens and we’ll also be looking at trading stocks, options and commodities in this market.

The uncertainty could be settled by Monday Night so be sure to tune in and see what is going on.

Also coming this week, the third in a series for long-term investors using ETFs and Position Cost Averaging. This LIVE event will have a special guest that will not only guide us on how to build a diversified portfolio… but also some SUPER new tricks with LEAPs that can really turbo charge your portfolio.

Finally, We are coming out with some upgrades and changes here at investing systems…

There is even talk of a new daily morning show as the markets open each day. I know for a fact we have a special series coming out that will look out over the next twenty to thirty years and what an important role energy will be playing in our future.

So keep an eye out for all of that.
